First
— what IS the Components List?
It’s a list of all the elements that must be
repaired or
replaced from time-to-time. The list is a basic building
block
in preparing a reserve fund study, and managing a reserve fund plan.
This list will be offered — (in the same manner we’re
offering it here) — to buyers of our forthcoming
“Reserve
Fund Essentials” book.
Some
Details
Here are a few
things you’ll like to know about ordering the
Components List. (The CL)
- It’s free — no obligation, no
catches
- The list is organized into 9 major sections
—

Systems, Electrical Systems, Life Safety Systems, Elevators, and
Interior Finishes/Furnishings
- Over 600 individual components are listed, nicely
categorized into
logical sections
- The CL is appropriate for condominium buildings as
well as
free-standing or conjoined townhouses and HOAs.
- It is delivered to you as a WORD attachment by e-mail.
- The WORD format allows you to customize the CL
— add
components that are particular to your property or delete those that
are not relevant.
- The WORD format allows for printing the CL as well as
copying it into
spreadsheets or tables.
- Here’s a sample of one of the pages from
the CL (This example is reduced here for display you’ll receive it formatted as

Here is what we will do with this information. We
will likely send to
you a package of literature about RFund, our reserve fund
software.
We’ll invite you to act on it, but if you do not, that is
entirely your decision.
No problem. No pressure.
We will not
telephone you unless our e-mail somehow does not get
through. This occasionally happens, and with your phone number we can
get to the reason for the problem.
