AGE/CON uses your own historical data to
tell you which replacement-year will deliver the lowest overall combined costs of
ownership, operating and maintenance. If you trade in a unit before the optimal time,
you’re not getting value from it’s potentially longer life. If you replace a
unit after the optimal time, you are spending excessive money on maintenance and repair.
AGE/CON provides the optimal — the "exactly-right" — time to replace
the unit.

PERDEC is identical to AGE/CON, but the
displayed text refers to machinery and its associated terms, instead of to vehicles.

RELCODE uses your records of
historical lifetime data for bearings, pumps, belts. gears…any component
part…and tells you how often you should replace them. Leaving them in service too
long increases your risk of costly on-the-job failures, and replacing them too often
reduces the life of still-useable components. RELCODE also indicates the
root cause of failure so you know why failures are occurring

EXAKT is a much more elaborate
program than the others. It’s designed to use condition-monitoring data, along with
age-based records, and financial estimates, to indicate whether — for a given machine
part, assembly or component — you should leave it in service until the next
inspection, or take it out of service immediately because of incipient failure, or put it
on alert status and inspect it more frequently. If you are doing vibration or oil
analysis, or any other form of condition-tracking, EXAKT will improve your decision-making
significantly.
