EXAKT is an innovative, totally unique package. It's designed from the ground up by a team an impressive team of engineers, statisticians and software specialists at the University of Toronto. EXAKT was conceived and spear-headed by Dr. Andrew Jardine, a world-respected authority in the field of maintenance and reliability. Dr. Jardine is Director of the CBM Lab at U of T. It's now called C-More … Centre for Maintenance Optimization and Reliability Engineering.

Oliver Interactive, Inc. (Oii) was among the original members of the consortium that proposed most of the directions in the development of EXAKT.
